Join us for a night when we highlight current students from the University of Nevada, Reno's Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program. Readers will include:
Logan Seidl
is an MFA student at the University of Nevada, Reno. He has received the the DQ award in both fiction and poetry, and the James H. MacMillan Scholarship for poetry/fiction written about Nevada. His poetry has been published in The Kentucky Review, Crab Creek Review, The Meadow, and Vinyl.
Garrett J. Sanford
is an MFA student in Creative Writing with a focus in Poetry at the University of Nevada-Reno. His work has appeared in The Montag, and he received the DQ Award for Creative Writing in Poetry in 2014. He currently lives in a tiny house with his cat, Finn.
Christina Camarena
is in her second year as an MFA fiction student at UNR. She writes literary realism and poetry. She also teaches English and Women's Studies.
Olivia Soule
likes coffee and tea, kombucha, snowboarding, yoga, cats and travel. She went to UCLA as an undergraduate and studied English and Italian. Currently, she is an MFA candidate in poetry from UNR. She's also the Editor for a start-up volunteer app called Golden. She had four poems published in the Haight Ashbury Literary Journal. She wants to be a teacher and a writer when she grows up.
Joanne Mallari
is an MFA student at UNR. Her work has appeared in 5x5 and Haight Ashbury Literary Journal. She is also a contributing writer for Bookin' with Sunny.
